ASSALAM-O-ALAIKUM
I want to ask a question. Can ACCA be done after F.Sc or Intermediate. I have seen on accaglobal.com the entry requirements as follows
" PAKISTAN
2 GCE (Advanced level) passes and 3 GCE (Ordinary level) passes (Advanced level passes at grades A-E, Ordinary level passes at grades A-C, including English and Mathematics. Intermediate Examinations / Higher School Certificate at 50% or above can be accepted as a substitute for Ordinary levels)"
Does this not mean that ACCA can be done after intermediate or F.Sc of Pakistan. I asked some colleges but they said that after F.Sc one have to do CAT.ACCA offices in Pakistan are also providing the same information.I can not understand this. Will any body tell me the real situation.
Also tell me which colleges are best for ACCA in Islamabad and Lahore.
What is average pay after completing ACCA.Can a person do MBA after ACCA or CA of Pakistan.I request all members to help me

The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) is a UK-based body regulating examinations of ACCA and CAT (and some others) worldwide...

After F.Sc, one has to first do CAT (Chartered Accountant Technician) in order to become eligible for ACCA... CAT now has a revised syllabus... After completing CAT, students are exempted from ACCA Part I and are directly passed on to ACCA Part II...

To fully complete CAT, it takes about one year under normal circumstances...

I dont know about Islamabad and neither Lahore, but I've heard a lot about SKANS in Lahore.

hi there..
in lahore and islamabad...SKANS opearates in both places..be it CAT or ACCA i think SKANS is equipped with best faculty.
IN lahore you have an option of CFE and CAPS as well all situated in Garden Town.

Assalamo Alaikum,

An advice for every student who want to join ACCA

Those who are 21 years old but are totally blank in the field of cmmerce should not go for ACCA directly. They should do CAT first..after completing CAT they will be exempted from ACCA part 1..CAT provides you basic knowledge about commerce/the subjects which are offered by the ACCA.
meanwhile you may do B.Com. but it is possible to have a clash b/w the dates of the examination of B.Com. and ACCA..So, it must be managed by the students.

Best of luck to you,

Allah Haafiz.
