Interest based economy and our duty

Dear all,

A thought just came into my mind and I thought to get your views on that. I thought that when I will die if God ask me that you spend more than half of your life understanding interest based economy which I declared haram, what efforts you did to understand and implement Islamic based economy. Do we have any answer?

I hope he will understand and prey that he'll forginve because whole of the system is based on interest. You should avoid it as much as you can. But it is the collective efforts that will bring an end to this system. Like we are making an effort to introduce Islamic banking, Takaful etc.
Moreover, interest is not the only 'haram' that we do. We do many other haram things and feel proud of [})]
