Paradigm, what did they tell you after the interview? That they'll call you again? Did they say when?

No the lady didnt say anything abt the 2nd interview

My interview will be taken by Farooq tomorrow. The one who called us. My interview was actually scheduled for today but I couldn't come to Karachi in such a short space of time. Since there won't be any interviews conducted tomorrow, Farooq told me that he will take my interview himself. I hope he doesn't end up asking me technical questions, because I am not yet prepared for them. I am expecting the technical questions in the second interview. Fingers crossed !!! Cheers !!!

Dont worry, farooq is a HR guy i dont think he would even know anything related to audit/ tax

Hope so dude, thanks. And besides, I think that the second interviews of all the candidates will be held on the same day. I think it will be on Monday. Just a hunch. Cheers !!!!!

I got a call just now for the 2nd interview. Got the call and the guy told me interview is tomorrow but after few mins got a call again and now the interview is scheduled on friday.

are they selecting immediately after the second interview? or are they asking to wait for a couple of days?

a friend working at EY told me they give u the contract immediately after the interview.
I am told to bring all my original documents to the second interview.

masroorahmed and paradigm, yes guys today was my first interview and I think it went great. The lady took my interview, not Farooq. Asked me pretty much the same questions which you were asked, like my educational background, milestone, why do I want to join Ernst & Young, what do you know about E & Y, who are the firms competitors in the market, position of responsibility you took, what would you do if you become the education minister, where do you see yourself in 10 years', what do you make of the current terrorist activities taking place in Pakistan, what do you think about the economy of pakistan, what inspires you the most, my hobbies, my alternative career choice, what is audit all about and that's about it. She told me that she is reasonably impressed by my confidence, knowledge and ideas, and also praised my appearence. BUT one problem guys, she told me that I didn't do very well in the test, asked me the reason as well. I told her that I got to know about the test on a very short notice, and things weren't fresh in my mind. Then she said that I don't have to worry about my first interview results, but my test results could be a problem. She said that she will do her best to forward my C.V. and results to the partner Parvaiz who will take the second interview. She told me that if I get a call it will be either in the couple of days or on Monday. Guys even though my interview went great, I am not very confident of recieving the call for second interview because of my test results. I hope I get a call. Please pray for me guys.

By the way, Masroor and paradigm, did the lady mention anything about the test results with you two? Just curious. If she didn't, then it means you both cleared the test, and you have more chance than me of getting the second interview call. If I am not wrong paradign has already got the call. Please man don't forget to share your experience with us. Let us know about all the technical questions you were asked. It will help us alot. Good Luck Man !!!

I am happy to know the confidence u had in and how all the interview went !! Dont worry , test results would be the same all over around , maybe she was just FINALLY trying to assess ur confidence ) .. did u specifically ask her HOW Many MARKS I SCORED ???

Yaar ho jay ga jani !! tension nahin laynay ka , be positive !! .. she said that she will pass your CV to the partner , + she was impressed , MEANS HO GAYA )

waisay by the way , how come she was impressed by your APPEARENCE and how did she praise u P sara bata nah yaar D hahaa... and what u were wearing ? any designer P ... do share and let us know as well P
