Hi,
Many of you might be aware of the new KU programme for Acturaial Sciences and Risk Management. I wanted to find out how credible do our present accountants and actuaries think it is with respect to practical and theoreotical application and accredition in foreign lands. Also, is the syllabus outlined by the uni enough to clear preliminary papers with SOA.

Great job with the site.

I think it should be okey for you to pass professional exmas later on if you manage good grasps of your university syllabus, though I don't have statistics to prove my statement.

Secondly, I wouldn't put so much weight on this programme credibility in foreign market. Main reason would be that this programme is in still early phase of delivery, i.e. recently started, so until unless its graduates don't prove that they can get jobs anywhere, we will have to wait.

Hope it helps
