Well, first i would like u to tell 'bout my background qualification.

B.Com From BZU
MBA (Finance)
COMSATS.
now i was wondering if i should go for ACMA or PhD. well i think ACCA will not be a good opt for me. alot of people say that Business field don't prefer PhD's also it looks overeducated. it is good if u like to come to teaching field. How Valid is that...? And what about ACMA after MBA 10 papers exemption but is there any edge to that. And how about another specialization From LUMS in Marketing.
so i am lost in three opts.
1. PhD from abroad
2. ACMA
3. another specializaton in Marketing (LUMS)
4. any other suggestion.

i would be thanKful to u guys for helping me out.

What do you want to make of yourself

1) A finance professional
2) A finance/business teacher
3) A marketing professional

for 1) I would recommend ACCA or CIMA over ACMA,. infact ACCA has a broader scope
for 2) A Phd. would make sense, world over Phd. are highly regarded in the teaching/research area, in accounting and finance a Phd. would up only if you are planning to do just that
for 3) LUMS sounds great if that is the path you want ot tread on, but having specailised in finance why do u want to go into marketing now.

well acutually i was inclined toward management & finance so that is Y i prefered MBA (finance). now i want something more to compliment to my MBA degree(to add some worth)i want to see myself as a Finance manager. how come i can reach there ? I dont care if something is tough but i do care about time. i dont want to spare 6 more years doing CA.i am new to ACMA and CIMA whats the difference i dont understand. Somebody could tell me WHATS THE KICK START DEGREE for me to get in the field now.

My Preference is to go in Industry...
2nd opt is BANK.
2nd opt kind of make me pessimist...awww~~
