Salam Everyone,

I am new to the forum and to the country. I grew up in US and am here for few months for a family emergency. I am completing MS in International Securities and Investment Banking.

I am in an urgent need of someone to help me with the material which will include risk management, arbitrage theory and so forth. I believe someone with MBA finance or FRM from Punjab University or a top tier Pakistani University may be able to help me. I am based in Lahore and do not know where to turn. I stumbled upon this forum and am hoping that some of you can help me out. Any suggestions are truly appreciated.

Thanks,
Res.

Shakil,

I appreciate the input. I am obviously not grasping the concepts from books. I have been able to make contact with some tutors, but it seems that most tutors are accounting focused, and my course is more finance specific. Although I was hoping to find some additional help through tutoring, I suppose I will end up without any as everyone and their mother in Pakistan seems to be focused on accounting. I suppose Finance is not that popular here. Thanks for the support, anyway.

Shakeel-

I need help with quantitative finance. The subjects vary from portfolio theory, CAPM, options, arbitrage pricing, Single and Multi Factor models. Portfolio volatility and Black Scholes.

This is a genral scope of the subject and line of study. If you can help or guide me to a source where I can get assistance, that will be greatly appreciated. Please feel free to email me [email protected]
