Hi guys,

I was thinking of getting one of the following mobiles, if any owns/is using these please post your comments

1)Motorolla A1000
http//direct.motorola.com/eng/Web_full_specs.asp?Country=GBR&language=ENG&productid=29249

Apart from all the additional features in this PDA phone, I am interested in the quality of the camera on this one !

2)Sony Ericsson S700i

Do memebers on this forum not use mobile phones ? from my visits to Pakistan,.. I was pretty sure people are mobile savy / crazy.

Hey I use K500i (Telenor) which I bought after J200i. After J200i and searching all sites (Nokia, Samsung, SonyEricsson etc) I had two choises K500 and K700 which were the cheapest sets having all facilities. As there was in mind the plan to by more good set so I didn't liked to pay 5000 just for bluetooth and radio and bought K500 and I am fully setisfied with it. As I am also good with computer so 12MB is like 20GB to me. I just today coppied a video of 50MB in my phone with a size of 500KB. K500 is fun.

I didn't bought phone to call (as I dont have any friend to call). I bought it for games, movies, songs and internet. And more then that I am planing to learn mobile phone software programming after exams in June.

Hi Pracs! its an Islamic way to congratulate someone when he buys something new. Well I wanted to see first how A1000 is. I liked it but maybe costly. Its features of EXCEL WORD etc are amazing (can sy it a mini computer then).
Good luck with your new set.

For other friends
If some one wants to buy a new phone he should view websites of all big mobile phone companies (SE, Nokia, Motorola, Samsung etc) and after comparing the prices and functions (spacialy mamory, camera, video, GPRS, Bluetooth, Infrared, Sound, Colors, Screen size, Java etc). Actually it happened to me that 1st time I just went to the market and bought SE-J200i (I was using mobile 1st time so knew knothing about them) but found it not for me so sold with 1500 rupees loss after 8 days and bought SE-K500. So I hope nothing like that may happen to anyone else

Thank you shahid, i just got my set yesterday and i am amazed by the no. of features it has, especially because I owned the most boring mobile sets earlier. This would be my first PDA, MP3 player, Camera, Video capture, browser and mobile phone all rolled into one.

yeah it is always better to research before buying, its not all that simple to buy a mobile wany more.

What about k750i. It reduced the prices of K700 from 19000 to 14000.

K700 is best for price but it can't beat P900 in features. If I had to choose one of them, my choise whould be P910.
