I am lucky to survive a mobile snatching incident (without getting my phone snatched). I was driving alone to a friends house with my window fully open. When I stopped on a signal, a pathan baba came to me & showed me a pistol. Since, no one had pointed a pistol at me before, the ground just left my feet & REALLY my heart stopped pounding for the first time in my life.I thought he was there to snatch the car or sthg. But he said "Batwa aur Mobil Oil nikalo". I quickly gave him my "batwa" which THanK god had 3000Rs, but my mind luckily didnt work then & I said to him "bhai mein Mobil oil kahan seh laaon, tumko jo laina hai lailoo mujhay choro" By then the signal had opened & the guy turned away & I out of shear horror screached the car, almost smashing into the car infront. It was when I looked for my mobile to call my dad that I realized that he was actually asking for my "MOBILE" which he pronounced as "mobil Oil"

Friends, NEVER EVER drive in karachi city with ur car windows open.and I mean NEVER. NEVER EVER show ur mobile on a signal. And always keep some money in ur wallet, to give to these freaks so that they can spare u! as in my case! And if god forbid this horrible time comes on u, Just give the damm mobile phone away coz ur life isnt worth Rs 20000 & u know u might get stuck in a traffic jam while being rushed to Aga Khan, if u get shot.
