Insider Dealing

We all are aware that insider dealing is a financial crime of a very serious nature. If you work in a company where senior management is involved in insider dealing will you report it to the relevant authorities as required the ethical code of every professional accountant (be a whistle blower) or just sit still and watch the show. I personally feel that such a crime should be brought to the notice of the regulatory authorities. How abt your opinion?

Guess what.. i cannot find code of ethics on icap website.
on a sep note... who has designed the new site.. its as amateurish as it can get...
i wonder why the underlines of hyperlinks are "overlines".. perhaps designer has some inverted thoughts.
..back to ethics.. ICAP should give a comprehensive guidance on whistle blowing... unless some1 is there to save ur back or provide atleast a cosmetic protection... nobody will come forward

In Pakistani environment if somebody is a witness of murder, he will never tell the police, "Bcaz Aaaa Bail Mujhay Maaar", bcaz he knows that nobody is gonna save him from police, so what do u expect from a professional accountant. <img src=icon_smile.gif border=0 align=middle><img src=icon_smile.gif border=0 align=middle><img src=icon_smile.gif border=0 align=middle><img src=icon_smile.gif border=0 align=middle><img src=icon_smile.gif border=0 align=middle>
