guys i knw Mehmood idrees qamar is not so renowned firm in karachi pakistan.... however its global affiliation is wth BAKER TILLY , which is quite popular. i wana knw ke wud this global affiliation affect after my CA qualification...... |??? i mean wud this be anyhw plus point for me ?????? plz do reply ....

bhai dekho.. one will only go for a mid-tier firm if he is unable to get into the bi4. therefore, if you are in this situation, you dont have any other option but to join the firm rather than think about the positives it will have on your CV.

However, if you currently have offers from more than one firm, i would suggest you to name them so the senior forum members are able to guide you better regarding which firm to choose.

One more thing, although someone like KamranACA bhai will be the best person to ask, im of the opinion that other than the learning you get in a big4 (due to their bigger clients), a firm will only play as big a part in landing you the first or second job. After that, it will be about ke "tum ne apne career mein kya teer maara" As long as you become a Chartered Accountant, All iz well!!
