Hi everyone. My name is Abdul Wasey.I have done BBA-IT (Hons).I have got 75% marks.Currently I am working in a security company as accountant at Rawalpindi.I want to continue studies.I am confused whether I should do MBA or CA.My personal interest is in CA through direct Graduate Trainee scheme because MBA is expensive. But when I visited firms then I came to know that they prefer CA (inter). Now I want to do CA (inter) in one year i.e. A & B, C & D by self studying. I need your guidance whether it will be a wise decision or not. Please Help me. I will be very thankful to you.

Salaam & Thanks AAdi for your reply. The reason for doing CA(inter) in one year is that I have already studied Functional English, introduction to economics & Finance, Financial Accounting, Business Communication, cost Accounting & information Technology during my Graduation, and I will study same subjects during CA(inter). Now plz tell me whether i should do CA(inter) in one year or not.

Well you can also opt for some other certifications like CMA from ICMAP, ACCA, CFA, CIA, CISA, CISSP, and many others. You can also go for some other Masters Degree like M.Com or MA Economics. Why are you limiting yourself to CA and MBA only? Kaamyaab hone k liye zaroori nahi k aap CA ya MBA hi karo. Aur bhi kuch kar k bohat kuch hasil ho sakta hai.

Rahi baat 1 saal mein CA inter karne ki to bara wala NO. Mein un logon ko encourage karta hoon jo ilm haasil karne k liye parhte hein na k office mein promotion k liye. 1 saal mein to aap se kabhi nahi nikalne ka wo bhi self study se. Chaho to apna 1 saal waste kar k dekh sakte ho. [)] Is soch mein bhi na rehna k tum ne BBA(Hons.) mein SAB kuch parh lia hai. Trust me jab CA ya ICMA mein ghusoge to cheekhein nikal jani hein. [D]
