assalamoalaikum
i m mobeen. i have passed inter in engineering in 2008.then i took admission in CA and cleared the module A in 1st attempt.after taht,in last year in 2009, i gave the exame of MODULE B but failed.then i gave up CA and thought to do ACCA but i was below 21 and had to clear CAT first.so now i thought to do B.COM part 1 and 2 togather.
i want to ask my frinds some questions
1)wheather i should continue CA or not?
2)howw many papers are in ICAEW examination and can i get some examptions on behalf of module A?
3) if i take admiddion in ICAEW after B>COM, how many examptions will b there for me in ICAEW?

Dear nahiyar,
there r no exemptions available in ICAEW for Bcom and module A of ca(icap).
ICAEW has a total of 15 exams but only final three r available in Pakistan.

Hi Uzair,
How it can be possible that you are attempting Audit and Tax in Pakistan which when i called them they told me that only Advanced Stage papers are offered in Pakistan?

I have mentioned it in a separate thread long ago that holding of Professional stage exams in Pakistan was dropped for time being by ICAEW as soon as ICAP Chartered Accountants were given credit from Business Strategy paper of Professional stage.

Fadi

You cannot persue this qualification from beginning in Pakistan atleast for the moment. You will have to choose the route of ACCA or ICAP to enter into ICAEW or else you have to go abroad ie Bahrain, Dubai, Malaysia, Singapore and ofcourse UK.
