Procedure Of Getting Articleship !!! ?

Hello everybody and Salam !

i am new here just wants to know what is the procedure of getting articleship in any of the reputed frim like ferguson ! THK

i am in module C. Module A & B have been cleared in first attempts

I wonder if they only take students who have cleared their foundation and intermidiate examination in first attempts or not ?

Dear Mobin,
If have done your graduation in the meantime, then u are eligible to get articleship in any firm, for this you will have to cancel your MFC/PFC registeration first, and get yourself registered as Trainee student, then u will become eligible to get articleship from any firm, but if u want to continue on your same status then u will continue as un-registered trainee student uptill you pass your module D, while i will never advice you to do so.

Thanks Smaraza for your decent advice but there is only one module left and i will be giving my Bcom part 1 exam in december so thats why it will be time consuming if i wait for the part2 to be cleared!

I just want to know that are the people clearing all their foundation and intermidiate examniation in the first attempt are the only one to get the articleship in a good firm like ferguson OR a person having more thant 1 attepmts can also get it !!???

Dear Mobin

Times have changed since the modular system has been adopted by ICAP and its a rarity that people have first attempts in all modules.
And the big firms like ferguson etc. are also taking ppl with referrals etc in one or 2 modules as trainee students.
As you have already passed the preious modules in first attempts, and inshallah u ll do so in the remaining modules. i see no reason why u cannot join the big firms.
all u have to do is drop in ur CV at their office, hope for the best and they will call you for interviews when the trainee intake time comes.
btw i will suggest you to complete your modules and then join.. its tuff to study and work.

Asaslauallaikum,
first of all please discard the idea that its only AFF that is the best .. i agree that it is among the best ...
there are other top firms as well such as THK(kpmg)
deloitee(yousf adil) and Fordes rhodes(E&Y)
and dropping the CV ios the not the way ...
yuo have to appraoch their principal office and fill the forms
then they will cal you for an interview...
in the first interview if thrty think you met their criteria then you wikll be asked for the second interview other wise you will be departed with a smile and a hope that they will give you a call
