if some body plz explain what is the difference between withholding tax and deduction of tax at source.

There is no any difference in fact the terminology that should be used is With Holding tax deducted at source. In the books on financial accounting usually the term used to refer with holding tax is tax deducted at sourcce. So do not confuse with these terms.

When u withheld Income Tax behalf of your client, its called withholding Tax or Deductions at source.
