Hi,
i am a new member. I have done msc accounting and finance after B.com
Now i am inspired by ACCA -)
I want to ask whether a student should avail exemptions or not if he is not good in those subjects (going to claim for exemtion). will this harm him/her during articleship or job hunt?

No. It will not.

Almost all of the papers of the Professional Level of ACCA, expands upon the knowledge gained in the Fundamental level. So, even if u miss any important concept in the Fundamental level because of the exemptions claimed, you will definitely have to revise(or learn) it in the Professional level.
