I would like to inquire y do people persistantly put religous topics on the forum rather than professional ones? This is an accountancy website and not a religous one so please do explain. Religon is a very controversial topic and brings more disagreement amongst the members.

I kind of agree with Evolution. In my opinion, talking about accountancy issues in the context of islamic religion is totally fine with me, but topics about religion which are not in any way related to this profession should not be encouraged. As it is evident from the messages posted in these last few days, these topics only create animosity between members and not much else.

I was going thru the list of members just recently and noticed that there were quite a few non-muslim members too, so i guess that it would be advisable if we should keep these topics to a minimum and not offend anybody's religious feelings.

I dont think that there is problem about discussing the islam, as we look at the website there are different forum for dicussion on different topics, as the topic was posted in the General Forum, so if u look at the Heading of the Topic, "General Discussion" there is clearly written "Discuss Whatever You Like", so if somebody post the topic in wrong forum then we should discourage it, even somepeople are already doing the same.
one thing more, you will never find a couple of people who are of the opinion. Everybody has his own view of thinkings,
Regards
