Despite Labor Party's attempts to scupper the government's plans to increase the minimum tuition fees that universities can charge, the proposals passed through the House of Lords with little difficulty, with the opposition's 'fatal amendment' defeated by 283 votes to 215.

Therefore my question is will UK's latest rise in tuition fee, affect ACCA students globally.

ACCA has a policy of increasing its fee every year slightly. But 200 per cent starting fee hike and, for most, it will be a 300 per cent increase might affect students in countries whose currencies are not strong compared to the British pound.

this is for state owned universities.. it has nothing to do with ACCA or any other professional body.. ACCA will decide its own fees and i doubt there will be such a big hike.. normal increase as always should be expected
