Assalam O Alaikum,
Iam working in an organisation in the sales tax department. The Collectorate of Sales Tax & Central Excise (Enforcement) has issued a standing order No. 05/2005, which relates to the verification and authentication of the genuineness of Shipping bills .As we are not in gold or silver category so it applies on us.
Can you give some information ab't that.

dear friend

yes it applies on you irrespective of your category for refund purpose. further more, satndaing orders are issued by the conerned Collector on powers delegated by CBR and not by CBR itself. In my view, the reffered Standing order(as you have not provided the text of the order) will be applied on you as well.
