When the business conditions become more war-like, survival stakes are higher and you have no control over the prices being quoted in the market, the only way to improve your bottom-line figure is to apply Cost Management and reduce cost. Considering this fact, during the inflationery pressures the Pakistan's economy is encountering currently, it is generally believed that CMA's shall have bright career opportunities as compared to before. Matter-of-factly, Companies in Pakistan tend to concentrate less on Costing system. Due to which, Costing functions in several companies are either absent entirely or if they exist, they are run by those who are unaware of driving the Costing Information System in the true sense.

I'm a CMA-Finalist. The Professionals who know the facts pertaining to this topic are welcomed to post their comments.
