Hi guys. it might be an odd question but i want to ask that should i do ca after acca. wht does the market offers to acca with practical experience at good firms/companies?

further my intention is to go to UK by HSMP or some other scheme but his process will require almost 4 years experience....i dont hink that pak ca will have any weightage there?? if a qualification wont help me after four years? should i have ragra for that?

I think the answer migh tbe clear but i am confused. everyone is welcomed to share his views? wht do you guys say

Well if u dont want to stay in Pakistan, u better not do CA.
and regarding the package, ACCA with experience can get about 20-30 thousand.

thankyou Abdur. Do Firms give acca trainees (acca students) with the same ragra that they give to ca article students?

The salary you have told 20-30k is too much for an acca. what if i have an year expeirnce at a small company & then two years at furgosen? Would that have effect on salary

The start seems to be ok but what would be the future, if i stay in pakistan, can acca's do further progress like CFO of a large co. in pakistan prospect.

There are other people on this forum who are aware of the pak market & ca firms environment, i think others should also give answer. what the use of this fourm if you guys just keep upto yourself??

hey ausman
if u really intend to go UK ans settle abroad , u need not do ca after acca ,rather just a practical exposure for time being would serve 4 u
as 1 of my relative ,both CA ad ACCA qualified ,2 yrs ago, is working in Uk LOndon nowadays
he was hired on basis of his ACCA in bahrain when he was giving his CA final exams
and the better he got of doing complete CA was an increment of about Rs 10000
then he went to UK and he's having a salary of about RS 3.5 lacs per month
and wat his opinion is that working abroad employer dont peep much into ur degree but ur practical competence
but since he doesn't have any intentions of settling in UK , so CA pakistan would really serve him here..
