During this raining Season, Almost all the roads of Karachi damaged due to
1. Raining,
2. Chor Contractors (Govt. kay chaheetay)

Now all people know that how much money will be required to recontruct all the roads and some flyovers.

Wouldnt it be better to spend one time by contructing a proper drainage system to avoid any losses which may occur in future rainings??????

As Our constructors after completion of Road say about the life that Road,
"This road will last for at least 25 years provided
1. There is no raining for next 25 years
2. There will be no heavy traffic using this road"

Please comment on this.....

Our money would be better spent if we spend it on research and development of cars which can fly. No more need for roads, their maintenance or their chor contractors! <img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>

If anybody's got any better ideas, lets have them!

Evolution... If SMR wants to take out his pent up anger through this forum, who are we to stop him. I say, all power to him!!

Atleast hey aint killing anybody or breaking up anything when he takes out his frustrations in this fashion, like most of us Pakis do.

Yar Guybrush, that was the limit during last raining, I was stuck up in traffic jam Just before Drigh Road Fly Over, my car travelled a quarter kilometer in 3 and half hours (hey mathematicians dont try to calculate the speed), I saw a family which just landed on Q&A Int'l Airport, i think they were from US, they came from airport on foot, U know the rates of taxi drivers on the Airport, they were demanding minimum 2000 rupees (Majboori ka faida, so we call ourselves Muslim)

I know what u r talking about. My mother was returning from Islamabad. First her flight was diverted to Lahore and when it finally arrived 6 hours late, the way to the airport was all filled with water. We tried our best to reach the airport but couldnt and my mother had to spend the whole night on the airport. After a struggle of 12 hours we were finally able to reach the airport.

A normal flight from ISB to KHI became an 18 hour odyssey for my poor ol' mom!

Yes guybrush, and there are lot of people who suffered, then what do think about the topic ? as it is a question, whether we should spend on Drainage or we have to spend everytime on the roads ??? which one will be feasable ?? dont consider it SFM Question as we are not required to evaluate the project. LOLz
