I never intended QUAM PRASTI, however, if anyone is misleaded I will take this opportunity to clarity that there is only one Qaum in Pakistan and that is Pakistani Qaum

Holy Quran says that God has created humans in different identifiable tribes (Qabaails/Qaums) for their identification.

Further, no arabi has any preference over ajmi and all humans have been created equal.

I think qaumiyet, rang, nasal etc are the things created by Allah and we cannot deny it. Yes, all humans are equal and any preference for God would be based upon good deeds.

Now, when we have reached an advance stage of human developments, we are first of all humans, then muslims, then Pakistanies and then we are punjabies or pathans or Mahajars etc etc. Our quam has nothing to do with our status as Pakistani. We are always first of all Pakistanies and then (if muslims) we are brothers due to same religion and then comes our qaum/caste/tribe etc.

For me, Pakistan has the first preference and not my caste or tribe or qaum. I understand every good Pakistani gives preference to his status as Pakistani and not to caste or tribes.

I would be pleased to enlighten on this issue if some friends have different ideas.

Pracs

I strongly disagree with this notion of yours Amir, I think what you meant to say was that Jinnah's contributuion to Pakistan was 90%, or is it just become a fashion these days to muddy the name of the founder of the nation along with every thing else that we have tresured.

If you are really serious I would like to have some facts,, who is this 90% we do not know about,?

I would expect our chief justice to posses a detail insight of our political environment. Both Jamat Islami and MQM are heavily armed organisations and it is a fact known by people who have very limited understanding of our political environment. Hence I would assume chief justice to be aware of this fact too, and I also assume him to be aware of the possibility of a conflict between these parties. Taking all that in to consideration he should be thinking to postpone his trip to Karachi in order to avoid a possible conflict. A thoughtless decision was made by him I hope he realised it by now.

Agree with you Praces that Quaid-e-Azam was the best leader and I also salute hundreds of Muslim league workers who worked with him.

I noticed some of the members are using words like “we (Punjabis)”. Though ordinarily I would not mind it, and there is nothing wrong with it but can I suggest not to classify our self in such a manner. I do feel (personally) a need to unite as Pakistani and nothing else.

May ALLAH bless us all

Regards
