Dear Fellows,

I am salaried employee in a software house. I also work as a freelancer and provide software development and maintainance services to a company in pakistan. I have NTN issued as salaried indiviudal.

I have some questions regarding income tax return filing.

Lets say my earnings as an employee "Employee Earning" and earning as freelancer "Freelancer Earning".

Does "Freelancer Earning" exempt from tax? At present, the company whom I provide software maintainance services deduct 6% of the invoice.

Do I need to declare "Freelancer Earning" in the tax return?

Does E-filing of tax return is sufficient or do I also need to file it manually?

A quick response will be highly appreciated as last date of filing is near.

Regards,
