The ACCA path to CFA

i want to ask whether i will be eligible to take level 1 of CFA just after passing all my ACCA papers(both fundamentals and professional) or after doing articleship of 3 years in a big 4

for doing CFA,u must be a chartered accountant.after doing CA,u will be eligible to do CFA.

it is not compulsory to complete acca or ca the only requirement of cfa is one should be graduate(four years degree) my brother is doing it and he is in 2 level he had started after doing B.E in computer

now that is more precise. i read that one of the cfa requirements was an acca level 2 pass. what does this means?

You can start CFA in the last year of your degree/qualification. But you must show evidence of completion of your degree/qualification before sitting for the level II exam of CFA

dear ACCA is not a requirement for CFA at all.Even an MA degree holder can start CFA.There r three ways.
1)u should have a 4 years degree.(16 years education)
2)4 years relevant work experience after 12 years education.(CFA would decide what is relevant)
3)2 years degree(14 years education)+2 years relevant work experience.
This info is available already in some other thread given by "CFACCA".He is a CFA and ACCA qualified.Search it.
