Yeap! Banking is an excellent profession to join after getting such professional qualifications like CA, ACCA, ICMA? Any accountancy qualification is the base of the banking profession. After qualifying CA, you will be appointed as an executive (at the minimum) in any commercial/scheduled bank. After CA, a candidate is appointed minimum as an "ASSISTANT VICE PRESIDENT(AVP)" (equivalent to Govt BPS-19 or above) in any bank. However, now SBP has made "Diplomaed Associate of Institute of Bankers, Pakistan(DAIBP)" compulsory for candidates desiring to join the bank(s) in Pakistan. For your information, banking official grades/ranks are follows;

EXECUTIVES (BPS-19 or above)-
1 - President/Chairman/Chief Executive Officer(CEO);
2 - Senior Executive Vice President (SEVP);
3 - Executive Vice President (EVP);
4 - Senior Vice President (SVP);
5 - Vice President (VP);
6 - Assistant Vice President (AVP);
STAFF OFFICERS (BPS-19 or below)-
7 - Officer Grade-I (OG-I);
8 - Officer Grade-II (OG-II);
9 - Officer Grade-III (OG-III);
10 - Tellers, Cashiers, Operators & other Clerical Staff etc.

You can also join bank in Pakistan after ACCA -- after fulfilling some special bank management requirements of the respective bank; may be in the form of papers, licence or whatever. However, I think that you have to pass law papers (tax, company law, banking companies law, SBP Act & rules etc) relevant to PAKISTAN. Further, now SBP has made "Diplomaed Associate of Institute of Bankers, Pakistan (DAIBP)" compulsory for all types of candidates desiring to join the bank(s) in Pakistan.
Anyway, after qualifying ACCA, you may be an "OFFICER GRADE-I (OG-I)" or above. But the candidates having professional qualification of any recognized body in the world are generally recruited in the "FINANCE/ACCOUNTS & AUDIT DEPARTMENT" & "HR/PAYROLL DEPARTMENT" of the banks as;
1 - INTERNAL AUDIT MANAGER/INTERNAL AUDITOR;
2 - FINANCIAL ADVISOR;
3 - AUDIT/ACCOUNTS OFFICER; etc etc.
