BS SE (Software engineering) vs CA (ICAP). Please help me. I am nearly admitted to PUCIT (Punjab College of IT) in BSSE. Now I am in a dilemma whether I should do se or go for CA. I am hardworking have done inter. Age is 24. The field dont matter. Job satisfaction and pay check matter. Thanx for helping me in advance.[)]

Because your age is high so do BS but if you are interested in accounts do ACCA or B.Com or BBA.

Rabia

You are not based at Pakistan and may not fully be aware of the cultural issues and responsibilities deemed to be taken by youth in middle class group.

There is a great bearing of one's age to the decision to be taken for his career and future, at least in Pakistan, specially if such decision has to drive and build up the earning capacity.

Secondly, age when compared to education level, speaks about the ability to take up future challenges. I, with these words, don't undermine one's positive intention. Rather, it is a very generalized statement. Rare cases are always there!

In Pakistan, normally chaps complete their intermediate (HSSC exam) in the age of 17 to 18.

Regards,

KAMRAN.

I agree with Mr. Kamran's point of view and options given by Mr. Awais seems to be providing reasonable choices for Mercapto.
