PIPFA stands for Pakistan Institute of Public Finance Accountants. Its a body of professional accountants like ICAP and ICMAP. Its a joint venture of ICMAP,ICAP and Auditor General of Pakistan. PIPFA is basicly designed for Govt employees performing accounts. But the main advantage of PIPFA for non-government persons is that being a member of PIPFA you enjoy the status of member of a body of professional accountants. A person who have passed ICMA upto stage-IV can get membership of PIPFA without passing any paper and just deposittin Rs1,700/- fees. CA students can also get membership of PIPFA after passing Module-E.

PIPFA has 3 semesters or module and 13 papers. Its actual time duration is 1.5 year.

Regards,
