There is very important role of CAs and ACCAs in a bank. When a bank employes people it follows the following path
CAs/ACCAs >>> MBAs >>> Commerce graduates >>> and other staff
CAs/ACCAs are usualy appointed on higher level as either exective directors or internal auditors.

turi, practical jokes and other free loading may be more appropriate in the General section of the forum. Other wise my dear next time you have a genuine question, no one's going to take it seriously...

Turi, I welcome you to join in debate, but please read what's already been contributed before you post something as nonsensical as this.

Traditionally CAs were employed for auditing and related stuff in banks, but now many banks are recruiting qualified members in their Corporate Finance departments (which of course make an economic case).

Disclaimer I'm not certain about the validity of this comment in Pakistan, but this does hold for UK and US markets.

Its happening in the Gulf, and in Pakistan on a very restricted scale, more of due to the economics issue,, since CA's are just more expensive. But as these departments ''grow up'' and advance into complicated business, I'd see more CA's involved into it ,
