ICAEW after A Level

Dear all

I have completed A level and wanted to ask can I join ICAEW as I have heard that it can be done in pakistan. I heard that first i will have to do CFAB to try for ACA. I also wanted to ask that what are my chances of getting a good job after completing ICAEW. Please tell me the procedure for all the students of A level. Tell me the good training institutions of Karachi and Islamabad and if I complete ICAEW from pakistan then is it equivalent to CA of Pakistan. Is it better to do ACCA or ICAP or ICAEW. Please also tell me the value of pakistani ICAEW in foreign countries

Salam,

I think u have asked a very relevant question.I too am going to complete my A levels & would like to do ICAEW from pak.
It's defnitely the best option[)]
But i would like to know the time period of it & will i be able to get training easily once i have completed my ACA.[?]

ICAEW has 4 parts
1)Exams
2)Technical Work Experience
3)Initial Professional Development
4)Structured Training in Ethics

one can do ACA/ICAEW in pak.it requires 3years to complete all exams & further 3 years to complete articleship.u may di the articleship during ur studies but it is highly unlikely that u will get into a contract with an employer!!

yes it depends upon you to do articalship during or after your studies but it is highly recommened to start your articaleship during your studies

i am saying that i am ready to start my articleship during studies.
but will i get a contract from authorised employer.
pls dont say it depends on employer's policy! i know that.
be certain & tell me ur view.
as so many people r saying that it is very difficult to get into a contract in pak??
