Could anyone please disclose the worth of doing CIMA(UK)?
I mean one really has to work hard, harder than ACCA to obtain a CIMA qualification apart from that it is more expensive and one does'nt see or hear in newspaper advertisment about CIMA. I may as well clarify that i am asking this with respect to pakistan. As everyone knows its worth in UK.

Cheers

first thing is that CIMA is not any qualification ___ it is the name of institute that is Chartered Institute of Management Ac****ants abreviated as CIMA. the qualification tht CIMA offers is ACMA, more rightly, ACMA(UK). this is a misuse of the name of institute in place of mentioning name of quaification, and most of ppl know ACMA(UK)as CIMA. however, employers know these facts and hence, they demand for ACMA in ads. ACMA(UK) charter holders can also apply for these jobs

secondly, CIMA has mentioned in their website that syllabus of ACCA and CIMA is virtually the same and they can b found working in same companies even on same designations. i donot know whether this statement is still available on web or not. so it makes it clear tht ACCA is not a hot cake either!!!
