105 more companies put under Karachi LTU

ISLAMABAD (October 21 2003): The Central Board of Revenue (CBR) has put 105 more business establishments and pharmaceutical companies in the jurisdiction of Large Taxpayer Unit (LTU), Karachi, says a notification issued here on Monday.

Previously, 248 companies/units were registered under LTU, Karachi, so the total now comes to 353.

For this, the CBR has amended SRO.350(I)/2002 using powers under the Voluntary Registration and De-registration Rules 1996.
