Abdullah Yusuf named Revenue Board chairman

ISLAMABAD (March 11 2004): The government has appointed Abdullah Yusuf as new Chairman of Central Board of Revenue here on Wednesday and Establishment Division of Pakistan has notified his appointment.

Abdullah Yusuf, who was serving as Federal Secretary of Petroleum has served for many years in the Ministry of Petroleum.

He carries a rich experience of service in power and petroleum sector. He also served in the Board of Investment where he had great interaction with multinational, as well as local companies. His presence in the CBR is expected to help generate revenue from power and petroleum sector.

The Establishment Division has also notified the appointment of Dr Safdar Mahmood as Chairman, Monopoly Control Authority.
