KARACHI (July 31 2005): The State Bank of Pakistan has allowed change in the name of Muslim Commercial Bank as MCB Bank Limited with effect from August 1, 2005.
According to a notification BPD (PU-31)/625/x/2005/9419, issued here on Saturday, the central bank approved and notified the said change in exercise of the powers conferred on it by clause (c) of sub-section (2) of Section 37 of the State Bank of Pakistan Act, 1956.
