ICMAP – IT Syllabus Revised

The National Council in its meeting held on 23rd December, 2001 has approved the New I.T. Syllabus. The revised titles of three I.T. subjects are as under:

Title of New Subjects Title of Existing Subjects
Computer Systems (F-I) Computer Systems & Applications (F-I)
Management Information System (F-II) Information Technology (F-II)
Information Management & Auditing (P-IV) Information Management (P-IV)

The new syllabi will be implemented from the forthcoming session i.e. (Summer-2002). The examination paper of the aforesaid subjects in the Summer-2002 Examination will be set according to the newly approved syllabus.

Those students who have already appeared and declared unsuccessful in the examination or completed their eligibility requirements for appearing in the examination in Winter-2001 session or earlier will be allowed to appear in the Summer-2002 Examination. However, they would not be required to attend Coaching Classes / complete Correspondence Course assignments, but they will have to prepare themselves for the examination as per the new syllabus and meet its all requirements of presentation / practical Examination.
