ACCA Holds Ceremony to Honor Achievers of Recent ACCA and CAT Examinations

KARACHI (January 26, 2012) – ACCA Pakistan today organised a High Achiever's ceremony at the Marriott in Karachi to acknowledge the achievements of ACCA students who performed well in the December 2010 and June 2011 CAT and ACCA examinations.

Mr. Tabish Gauhar, the CEO of KESC, Mr Arif Masud Mirza, head of ACCA Pakistan, Mr Rehan Uddin, head of ACCA Karachi and Meera Barlas, marketing manager ACCA Pakistan were present at the ceremony along with 37 high achievers and their parents.

On the occasion, Mr Tabish Gauhar addressed the high achievers and the parents at the ceremony. He encouraged students to work hard and contribute to the society. Mr Arif Masud Mirza, head of ACCA Pakistan congratulated the awardees for their brilliant performance in the examinations. There was special focus on strong values of professionalism and ethics.

ACCA Pakistan congratulated Pakistani high achievers who have demonstrated potential to be leaders of the accountancy professions and contribute to sustainable growth of business in the county. On this occasion, Meera Barlas said “The young achievers should use education as a powerful weapon to rise against all odds. Top achievers are life long learners looking for new skills, insights and ideas. If they are not learning, they are not growing or moving towards excellence. High achievers spot rich opportunities swiftly and make dreams come true.”
