Yes,you are right,cloud computing seems en vogue nowadays.Cyberprint of 'The News' mentions it alot.Even Microsoft has moved into this with the latest MSOffice version.It sort of became popular with the recession because companies can no longer afford buying each and every piece of hardware and getting the latest expensive software.According to my understanding,the 'cloud' has got all the stuff you need on huge servers so you can rent the software you want instead of buying so it's cheaper and that's why companies are moving into it.Plus,the ease of accessing your documents from anywhere(Google Docs and the new MSOffice etc)is proving popular but don't know if security-wise it's that good.The links work and small companies would probably benefit from the expertise of a team of professionals but I don't know how cost-effective it is.
