AICPA and Brazilian Accounting Bodies Agree on Memorandum of Understanding
NEW YORK (Dec. 9, 2011) - The American Institute of CPAs (AICPA), the Conselho Federal de Contabilidade (CFC - Federal Accounting Council) and the Fundao Brasileira de Contabilidade (FBC - Brazilian Accounting Foundation) announced that they have agreed to a Memorandum of Understanding. The two-year agreement was signed earlier this week at the CFC offices in Brasilia.

USA and Hong Kong Sign Mutual Recognition Agreement for Accounting Profession

CPA’s Survey Shows CFOs Compensation Set to Rebound
NEW YORK (June 30, 2011) - Good news could be on the horizon for many CFOs of U.S. companies. After a downward trend between 2008 and 2010, the forecast is that CFO total compensation will show a substantial improvement in 2011 at both private and public companies according to the 2011 CFO Incentives and Compensation Survey conducted by Michal Matejka, Ph.D. of the W.P.
