This is a very common approach.. ppl do travel , staying in hostels, studying for the E and F modules along with the articleship !! ppl do travel.. but guess what ?? we are lucky enough to have our homes in one of the finest cities in pakistan !! Ppl die to travel and work in isb ) ... There is less competitive market in ISB compared to Lahore and specially Karachi !! The number of applications are more there in those cities !! so making it more tough for every1 ) Coz in BIG 4 , the best of the best is selected , as we all know )

I was thinking up a back up plan today, since the deadline is so class and still no call. InshAllah we'll be called but still better to have a plan B. When do you think the application will begin for KPMG and Delloite for may induction? Also how is the process for other firms like BDO etc? You know anything about them?

@Aimad , Aff ka illawa har firm ma khudh ja ker CV Drop kerna parta ha .. ALL OF THEM !! .. then onki marzi hoti hay , jisko call kerain for test and then process goes on and on !!

I heard from many people that KPMG is again starting their trainne session in MAY !! coz of CA inter !! onka result ana hay is liya !! abhi tu who apply ker rahay hain jo last WINTER session ma pass howay thay !! thats why we ACCA's also have hope ) humain b bula lain gay P

So , better plan B is , make a CV , a good one , professional one , drop it in the firms and then again wait for the call (

Yeah I guess you are right. I went to KPMG in March and there an HR guy(I think it might have been the HR head himself) told me also that they will have induction in May.

is there any acca finalist jo select ho gaya hoo??...bcoz i have heard that they r selecting affiliates only this time

Saad_srk, I don't think that would be true. Because if that's the case, then why would they call ACCA Finalists for tests and then interview? If they have no plans of selecting them? Can't be.
