Dear

If you do B.Com then you can register with ICAEW without any admission test. You can also take and pass ICAEW 14 out of 15 papers in Pakistan. ICAEW has authorised some firms and companies in industry to train students. You can join firms after passing ICAEW 12 or 14 papers. I therefore suggest you not to go for ICAP and do ICAEW.

Dear zubair56

There are giving you wrong information. ICAEW has 15 papers and after ICAP you need to pass ICAEW 4 papers means amlost 45% of ICAEW sylabuss plus after ICAP you will need to undergo 2 yrs of training under the supervision of ICAEW member.

ICAP has 20 papers so after ICAEW you will only need to pass ICAP 2 papers means about 10% of ICAP slyabuss. And after ICAEW you will not need to undergo any tarining as you will be exempted from ICAP articleship on the basis of ICAEW articleship.

Think carefully before going any further.

Won't it be better to answer the specific query instead of replying in a way as if we're imposing our personal view on the newcomer? Let's leave the choice of the institute on the student so as whether to opt ICAP or ICAEW!

Assalamo aliqum!
I think some thing wrong with you. If you are advising people to do ca from icaew why you are not trying to do.
I want to repeat my word
Mathematicaly,
If this is your advice to people to do ca from icaew then you needto try yourself
Otherwise it is completely misguiding innocent students.
Behave yourselves.
