Well Guys ....... the topic was all about photography. Lets review the physics of man landing on the moon. There is no space vehicle (to my knowledge) except the space shuttle that can land on a plane (earth) and take off afterwards. By the way ....... can you imagine a space shuttle taking off from the planet after less than a day of its landing???????? heheheheehe ....... Guys ........ it will be a disaster ....... it takes around 4 month for the next take off......... the main reason of man not landing on the moon is that there no source to leave moon once you land it. Our present technology doesnt support it. Even nowadays Russians have more powerful rockets than USA and they couldn't make it to moon. In fact no other nation except USA claimed it. If you dont agree to my point then just compare the size of rocket of the vehicle they used to take off from moon with size of rockets of space shuttle. It seems more than a joke to me. Even if the gravity on moon in 6 times less than that of earth, a vehicle would've consumed a lot of fuel to escape the gravity. I'll appreciate more comments on the subject.

I dont know much about whether Americans landed on moon or not. Further I have seen that program "Conspiracy theroy Did we land on moon" the only thing i noted that when NASA guys were called for comments they did say that all theories are production of some body's mind but they never gave explanations for points raised in the program.

hi ophie, long time no see.

You have no idea what you are talking about... right?

The escape velocity for moon is much, much less than earth or any planet for that matter. One doesnt need huge or even small rockets to escape from the surface. Tie a good sized "pataakha" to your back and you'll easily head back to earth.

Hye guy Brush

I have already mentioned in my mail that escape velocity would be 6 times less than that of earth. Even then you have to generate some pace to escape moon. There must be a good sized rocket to generate this much power. Just make an unbiased comparison. You'll yourself feel the difference.

Nice seeing your reply by the way ...............

Isn't it funny that it is always people like us who talk about the controversy of the moon landing. If there was any serious doubt then don't you think the Russians would have said something.
As far as the escape velocities are concerned,

-----------------
Moon 2.38 km/s
Earth 11.2 km/s
-----------------

I don't know about the size of the rockets. But haven't you ever heard the phrase "It's not the size of the rocket, it's how you use it".

ofcourse they didnt get to the moon ! the american nation was so stupid that they believed it and still do ....
if they really had gone to the moon then they wouldve reached mars with men aboard by now.
the truth is that americans never had any plans to go to the moon but when a spy leaked that the ussr was planning a space ship they thought they were going there to capture land and stuff so they planned this hoax to slow down the russian progress but after all this the russian still managed to get to the moon and that was no hoax !

peace

p.s. im not a communist ! not an american idiot either

In 1969, Russia launched a SOYUZ class IV rocket carrying three men, a woman, and a dog. They were to engage in a circumstellar suborbital survey of the stratosphere. 13 days into the orbit, their coordinates were blown off course by a sudden solar radiation storm. They reached the neutral gravity point between the earth and the moon, and were subsequently brought under lunar gravitational influence. They landed on the moon on November 15, 1965 (www.nasa.gov/archive/russia/history/lunarlanding.html). The woman successfully made it back with the dog.

So if the Russians landed, they would have probably seen or not seen the American flag. Don't you guys think they would have said something if they didn't. Logical conclusion ---- The Americans DID land on the moon. C'mon guys, why is this so hard to accept

well seeing that the guy copied that off the nasa website you shouldnt expect these sorta things . btw moon is no shopping mall at the city centre ! they wouldve have landed miles away from the spot where americans landed (i.e. if they did)i dont why you guys dont believe it but its the truth . even national geogrpahic accpeted that a few years back.
the american shot their moon landing in a some desert. and it was actually the russians
who questioned the american landing as the things they saw there were no way near the stuff the americans described.

cmon accept that ! you know youve made even greater hoax .

peace

Guess we're all gonna have to agree to disagree over here. That is, unless WE go to the moon and check it for ourselves

The Japs are sending an manned probe to the moon to collect samples and pics in two years time, i think by 2006 or 2007... we'll know for sure by then. Until then lets keep our fingers crossed.
