hi there
well u see ca and acca are both equally challenging and in demand abroad.. yes of course chartered accountants are considered the guru's of accounting and thats only due to their 4-5 year ragra, articles. if u arent interested or able to do articles then theres no point of doing ca-inter. i mean the max u will get is a starting pay of about 7000 to 10000, depending on ur luck..
with acca u dont need to do articles but u are still required to do the 3 year training.. which canbe done before after or during the studies.. this can enable you to either become a champion in one aspect or do bits and pieces .. as a qualified acca u can get a starting from 15000, depending on your previous academic record, connections and most importantly luck.
another option which i might add i think would be much better for someone like you is to do ACMA from Institute of cost and management accountants of pakistan .. this is ideal for u since it is a pakistani qualification recognised everywhere locally as well as some places internationally... with acma u dont need to do articles just like acca and it being a pakistani qualification is cheaper as well..
see the basic reason why ca's are paid more then an acca, cpa or cima is that as a ca u are doing pakistan tax and pakistan law variants and are more aware of the requirements whereas with all the above mentioned qualifications u do these of the country these originate from .. so if u wanna work in pakistan, in my opinion the best option for u would be to go for graduation first and then do acma.. and inshALLAH once qualified and in job u can always do acca then if u want to .. but in my opinion acma from icmap is the ideal thing for u .. u can find more info in acma from www.icmap.edu.pk
best of luck and if possible remember me when praying ... pray for my exam and career success as well .. thankx brother))))
