Dear retarded,

Without taking any assumption, one should select 2nd room, as lion is hungry for the last two months, and as far as my knowledge is concerned, lion can live for 7 or more days without food, however, period of two months is much on the higher side, Lion must have been died.

Hence the answer is 2nd Room.
