Don't mean to put you off,.. I tried to get a frim offer me a place after i did my ACCA certificate stage... I was qualified enough but no one was ready to offer me a place.. wrote to some 70 plus firms all over UK, Scotland and N Ireland...

apparenlty there aren't enough visas for training in the UK.. some firms wrote to me that I did not stand chance since most of these visas are used up by accountancy students having graduated in the UK (foreign students). I had some guys articling with me in Lahore who had managed to do their ICAEW Foundation in the UK... but came back since they couldn't get a place in a decent UK accountancy firm...

but times have changed... try u rluck,. better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all )
