i guess my information was of no help to acocalypse. well i am pursuing a career in actuarial science, but i am new to the field, i'm taking the soa course 1 exam next month. but i've done a lot of research on the education redesign, but i guess u want information from the senior members of the forum. calculus will no longer be examined, and the course one exam will only be probability. calculus questions will no long be asked in later exams. economics and corporate finance has been deleted from the second exam, the second exam is now only interest theory. the third exam is almost the same, applied statistics has been deleted from the fourth exam. plus u have to show the soa that u have taken courses in economics, corporate finance and applied statistics from a good university, or u can give special exams which will be offered in nov.2005 and which will be different from the soa course 1-4 exams. this new process is called vee, validation by education process. the new syllabi and information on education redesign is available on www.soa.org, do visit the site acocalypse it will really help you. lets hope senior members also comment on this issue. i know u dont want information from me acocalypse but if u have any questions u can ask me
