Promoting a forum on another forum...... seems like bad marketing. Kinda like putting Coke adds on Pepsi cans.

Hello

Let me introduce myself, my name is Mark and I run the http://www.accountancystudents.co.uk forum which has been mentioned earlier in this post. Our site has been running since March 2004 and is in no way related to the new accountancy forum set up by Arslan Shahid.

Arslan Shahid was a member of our site until September 10 2004 when his membership was terminated due to unacceptable behaviour on the forum despite repeated warnings from the forum administrators. Such behaviour included multiple usernames, flooding the forum with meaningless messages and creating fake discussions together with not heeding written warnings from the administrators.

If Arslan has spammed on this site using our site name and url I can only apologise. We do not condone such action.

With regard to Arslan's new site we can confirm that the email address of one of the administrators is http://prinseofvikings@hotmail.com which agrees with one of the email addresses Arslan used on our site.

Additionally, the new site has copied a lot of material from our site (in breach of copyright laws) and we have therefore had no option but to issue a warning to the administrator and the ISP involved.

I have taken the liberty of repeating the warning given by Apocalypse regarding the possible irregular of usernames and passwords and put a link back to this site/thread on my site.

It is regrettable that the actions of one individual can cause so much trouble for other members and administrators alike as these forums are run solely for the benefit of members.

Finally, I would like to congratulate you on an excellent site.

Regards

Mark

Hey! A good Site is just that a good site - my plug is check out http://www.accountancystudents.co.uk

Arslan - as many of you remember spammed on the UK site considerably - also told tales of how we was qualified ACCA I think at 17/18 aswell as studying CIMA/ ICAEW and probably any other qualification he could type.

Think this one through logically - Arslan uses multiple email addresss and identities, so would you say he is aware of how to create different email and id's. Yet his "friend" and numerous other "friends" also tend to use his name and ID?

On the UK site he used various pseudonyms - but using the same isp and posted within minutes/ seconds of each other. Can you imagine the frequent hopping Arslan and his "friends" would have to do to make this possible!

Having seen both the UK and mr arsalan' site, it appears these are very similar in structure. Ofcourse I welcome new accountacy website as it increases competition.
However, as an experienced IT user, I would repeat the earlier advice give by Apocalypse perhaps to refrain from using the same username password combination.
As for copyrights are concerned, it is the responsibility of the adminstrator of a website to ensure these are observed.

The trouble is Arslan, you said all this before. Why don't you just admit that you are the administrator as everyone believes? Why did you make such a blatant copy of the UK site? Telling people you are ACCA qualified and then admitting that you are not, no one will believe what you say anyway!!!

I'm sorry that is another blatant lie - unless your "friend" has borrowed your hotmail address on the Forum.

You have used the same email address as the Administrator on that site as you used on this site and the UK site. Give it up Arslan! You have been caught far too many times with the porkies you tell.

I HAVE A QUESTION FOR YOU -

You fail to treat this forum with respect or the UK Forum, why should visitors of your site treat it with respect?

As for you have apologised for your previous actions, i believe actions speak louder than words. You cannot beg a pradon and continue to behave in the same manner that you are begging a pardon for!

STOP LYING! You are Administrator as the email address is buttpunjabda@hotmail.com

This is the same email address you used on this site and denied your were the same Arslan for your various ID'd and the same email address you used on our UK site!

stop lying!
