Salam,

If you are in pakistan & looking forward to develop you career within pakistan then no doubt CA(ICAP) is one of the best option you have.

Now as far as choosing suitable route is concerned then according to me you should go for a direct route as in pakistan employer do not place much importance in a degree or let's say they prefer a candidate with a direct route although let me tell you that outside pakistan especially in ME it's a opposite story.

You would & should have studied Accounts at O & A levels & based on that I think you should make your decision ie if you consider yourself to be average or above average student in Accounts then opt for a direct route.[)]
