Dear Tahir,

Point#2, wavier fee is exactly same as exam fee.
Point#1, All this information you can check through following link;

https//www.imanet.org/membership_join.asp

I think their exam fee is $190 per part, First time registration is $410(195+15+200.

Dear Mr Sohail,

I really appreciated for all your useful information.

Kindly also advise me that how many months preparation required on general to clear the CMA exam ???

Also , I have checked the site and there is an option to get an addmission and we can submit our educational details later to IMA and after verifying the credential they will issue the certification so in this care do I need to submit same exam fees and registration fees as mentioned in your previous reply.

Dear Tahir,

Eid Mubarak.

Yes, you can submit your educational detail later on but IMA will issue certificate only once you provide your educational origional (Graduation) documents.

Fee for registration and exam will remain same in both cases.

Passing CMA vary between person to person and I don't know your current level of education so I am not in a position to provide you any idea.

Secondly most of CMA's are from US region and there basic requirement of CMA is graduation which is of 4 years in that part of the world. CMA passing rate average is around 50-55% which includes gradutes of US region, CPA's and other professionals from different countries. The reason for mentioning all this to provide you actual facts that CMA is not very tough but also not very easy. It depends upon your own commitment and hardwork that how quickly you clear CMA exams. But if you remain focus with your study material then I am pretty hopeful that you can pass CMA exams comfortably in a reasonable time.

But one thing is sure that their CMA result is not bound to damand, supply constraint which followed in our country (ICAP, ICMAP).

Sohail

Dear Azmat,

I hope IMA will accept AIOU graduation but it's better if you write an email to IMA ([email protected]) and ask about recognition of AIOU and it's graduation.

I think they will also recognize your experience of "U.S company", towards CMA requirement after passing your CMA exams if you worked in the capacity mentioned in the experience requirement.

Like you told that you are a commerec graduate and if you study full time CMA then I hope you can clear your CMA exams between 1-2 years but all depends on your commitment and hardwork.

Sohail

Dear Azmat,

I think you don't need to mention this specifically because they have this kind of information with them and if they required then they will ask for evaluation (hopefully not).

Dear Tariq,
I have heard from many people that you can't get progress in your career after qualifying CMA means there is no value here in middle east. Most of the people are saying that you should go for CPA or ACCA.

As you have qualified CMA-IMA so, what is your opinion on this?

Dear Zubair,

I would suggest to do little bit reseach over CMA (IMA) market value in Middle East..then you will automatically get your answer and then you don't need to quote what others are saying.

To me obvious answer is "Yes" over market value of CMA (IMA) in M.E.
