<br />[quote]Mr Nakaiun you are if i am not wrong a CAT student and so i want to ask from you that why you so much keen in articles from Big4....the minimum requirement are as

AFF----------------->ACCA core passed atleast

I am not very much sure from where you got all that info. According to my knowledge normally ACCA students who want to get training from big firms have to get registered with ICAP. And, a student gets CA inter exemption after passing ACCA core.

I always suggest to people that joining CA through ACCA route is always an easier and more recomended route.

I am not sure where the discussion on this thread is leading to. But no body should have any doubt that CA

-is much well paying than ACCA
-has got quite comprehensive course as compared to ACCA or other accountancy qualification
-is quite difficult to pass

There is no point is comparing CA and ACCA

hi its new member of acccouncy.com,

Amir,
u are comparing CA with ACCA,
well
CA is a government body, works in audit, tax , consultancy.
ICMA ,CIMA they also are government bodies work in management and construcation type accounting.

and in every country u see , there are mostly two bodies just allittle change in name but doing same job alomot,

but i dont know why these new commers like,
ACCAs, PIPFA, MBA finnace wana interfere with them.
if you compare CIMA with ICMA , its right no prblem u can compare ,but i dont know what ACCA and MBA wana prove?, although they have no base where they come from are they government bodies ,

and i call u childish just because u are comaring low level papers of CAT with Module E and F , what are u comparing in both,
but if u compare module A and B papers with CAT , i still say there is absoloutly no comparison , because the coustoms are different.
there passing level , high mental level, strenght and skill thats what ICAP want from a student.

i will say there is no comparison in ACCA and CA ,but u can compair other chartered accountants with pakistani accountants, then it will be a logical comparison otherwise there is nothing to choose between them.

Amir what I mentioned is not a rule. Generally ACCA students face difficulty in joining big firms with out reference. And things are much easier if they register with ICAP, you need to confirm your info I guess you are mistaken

DEAR FRIENDS,

MY NAME IS IMRAN HASNAIN I DID M.COM, M.B.A. AND DCMA. I AM LIVING IN SHARJAH UAE I READ THE MAIL OF MY DEAR FRIEND MR. ASIF IN WHICH HE GIVE A STATEMENT THAT WHAT THE MBA,S WANT TO PROVE.

MY EXPERIENCE IN UNITED ARAB EMIRATES IS THAT THERE IS A MATTER OF LUCK REGARDING YOUR STATUS IN THE ORGANIZATION NOT THE THE QUALIFICATION.

HERE IN DUABI EVEN A BCOM IS THE HEAD OF ACCOUNTS DEPARTMENT AND CA IS WORKING UNDER HIM. WHAT WE WILL SAY

EVEN MY EARNINGS ARE MORE THAN THE EARNINGS OF A CA. BUT HERE ACCA QUALIFIACTION IS CONSIDERED BETTER THEN THE CA OF PAKISTAN.

AND EVEN CA OF INDIA IS PREFERRED THEN A CA OP PAKISTAN.

THE THING IS ALL THESE QUALIFICATION HAVE THEIR OWN WORTH. BUT REGARDING EARNINGS IS DEPENDS ON YOUR LUCK AND THE BLESSINGS OF ALMIGHTY ALLAH.

BEST REGARDS,

IMRAN HASNAIN.

Imran so how is Dubai these days ? I am not trying to negate your ACCA Vs. CA (Pak) comparison, there may be some merit to it, depending on the employer and the person who is being hired, I took up my first job in Dubai in a Big4, and signed my contract before my CA final result came out,, the hiring partner who is an FCCA said he was least bothered with my CA results a I was an ACCA already !! but must say there is a thin line in preference because it boils down to RELEVANT EXPERIENCE and CORE SKILLS.

What I would like to 'oppose' and not agree tooth and nail is the fact that Indian CAs are preferred over Pakistani CAs.. is absolutely rubbish, they are not paid more than Pakistani CAs I have seen Indian CAs accepting on AED 3,500 (two years ago), ofcourse there will be little difference in Pakistani and Indian CAs, ACCAs with Big4 backgrounds. You may find a lot of them snazzing the market because there are quite a few Indian owned and run businesses in Dubai of all the places in Gulf.

Dear,

It is very commonly used phrase in Punjab. To me Punjabi appears to be a very sincere and raw language. I also like Urdu and want to learn english more than what I currently know. However, I always loved Punjabi. Similar to your situation, I am basically a Pathan but owing to our residential status since more than 100 years in Punjab I dont have much grasp on Pashto.

Like u I also want to learn Pashto.

Yes, we can share things in Punjabi but in my view GENERAL section of this forum would be better for such sharings.

Do you reside at Karachi?

Regards,

Kamran.
