Hello. All

What do u ppl think after ACCA shall we opt for Articleship In A firm -- supposidely like 4 Roads.---- Or should we join an Industry--

Like In a firm we will Really Gain Expereince with 2500 Rs/Month.
And In An Industry Like Packages we could earn a starting Salary of 20000- With a good Rate Of growth.

Now Situation After 3 Years.

Who will be more demanded an ACCA who has Completed articleship In a firm or an ACCA with 3 years expereince from an Industry.----

Anothere Option---

WHo will earn more SALARY

a) A student who has Completed 3 yrs expereince from a Firm alongside CA (Extraordianry Case)

b) A student who has gained 3 yrs Relevant Expereince from an Industry along with CIMA.

Ur Views wll relly be appreciated.

I think that in order to become a sucessful Accountant every one should pass through the ordeal of firm.

But otherwise The recommendation of Industry Is also worth considering.

Like Already mentioned.. Every Accountant should pass through the ordeal of firm.

As already regerred Opt For Optimisation rather thean Maximisation..

B y passing through that ordeal u will be devoleped to that Extent that u will become a sona from Kundan.....

So Option A will be better....

Others Views....

dear mr. Arslan, u ve actually propounded FOUR distinct cases

#1 ACCA + 3 yrs articleship from a firm.

#2 ACCA + 3 years expereince from Industry.

#3 ACCA + ACA (articles will be definitely from a firm bcoz of ACA).

#4 ACMA(CIMA,UK)+ 3 yrs experience from industry.

preferred rating in descending order shall be
1- option#3 ACCA + ACA
2- option#4 ACMA(CIMA,UK) + industry (by the way, CIMA prefers industrial exposure over articles from audit firm)
3- ACCA + articles from firm
4- ACCA + experience from industry

So by it r u giving CIMA preference over ACCA......

I think CIMA or ACCA both along with there articles completed will be of equal demand..... Or will CIMA qualifed will earn more... ur views.......

salaaam all,

dear swalat, these r my neutral n unbiassed views. i m not rating CIMA better or poorer thn ACCA. this is a separate debate. articles r not compulsory for either of CIAM or ACCA. both bodies accept industrial experience also.

i prefer ACCA with articles rather thn industry bcoz articles give more comprehensive command over auditing n taxation etc. thn does the industry.

however, CIMA prefers industrial, rather thn firm's, experience. i was told this by CIMA authorities on e-mail.
