Dears,

I have been told strange facts by a person at a small town of Pakistan.

A person XYZ (at the said town) is suffering with blood cancer and as per doctor's advice he was supposed to be given blood in order to alleviate his pains. His relatives arranged 5 or 6 donors from nearby localities a few days back who all were tested for such donation.

Tests revealed that 2 persons out of such donors were HIV positive. Hospital staff did not even tell them this fact and declined their donation.

To some one, the relevant staff of hospital informed that so far more than 20 HIV positive people have come across during generalized testing.

If this is the growth rate of this monster then where will this lead the nation to after, say ten or fifteen years.

Our Government has so many other priorties and this issue finds no importance for them.

I wonder if we will be needing any other enemy if this disease and its reasons will not be controlled.

Regards,

Kamran.

Blood transplantation has become pretty risky now due to such diseases. BTW AIDS is a major challenge to the whole world. It's not a problem of Pakistan alone.

May Allah save all of us from every kind of disease Ameen!
